  • All items sold are preloved, vintage, or from independent sustainable brands. Due to the nature of secondhand fashion, minor imperfections may occur. We describe each item as accurately as possible.

  • Prices are listed in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable. We reserve the right to change prices without notice.

3. Orders & Payment

  • Orders are confirmed only upon receipt of full payment.

  • We accept major credit/debit cards, PayPal, and other secure payment methods.

  • If an item is unavailable after an order is placed, we will notify you and issue a full refund.

  • The shop is currently only open to sales in the UK. We are looking at updating this soon.

4. Shipping & Delivery

  • We aim to dispatch orders within 3-5 working days.

  • Delivery times vary based on location. UK orders typically arrive within 5 business days; international orders may take longer.

  • Shipping costs are calculated at checkout.

  • We are not responsible for delays caused by couriers or customs.

We want you to love your purchase! However, as we sell preloved items, we encourage mindful shopping. Our return policy is as follows:

  • Returns are accepted within 14 days of receipt.

  • Items must be in their original condition with tags.

  • Customers are responsible for return postage costs unless the item is faulty.

  • Refunds are processed within 5-7 business days upon receiving the returned item.

  • Items marked Final Sale are non-returnable.

Consignment Terms & Conditions
Thank you for considering Little Black Look to sell your pre-loved premium and designer fashion pieces. We aim to make the consignment process as simple as possible. By consigning with us, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Submitting Your Items

  • To begin, send us an email at info@littleblacklook.com with clear images and detailed descriptions of the items you'd like to consign.

    • Include the brand, size, and condition of each item.

    • If an item requires repairs, please disclose this in your email so we can assess suitability.

  • We accept only premium and designer brands, we do not accept fast fashion labels.

  • We will review your submission and confirm which items are a good fit for our curated collections.

2. Approval and Pricing

  • Once items are approved, we will provide a proposed selling price based on the following factors:

    • Original retail price

    • Current market value

    • Item condition

  • Prices will be shared with you for approval. If we do not receive a response within 5 working days, we will proceed with the suggested pricing.

3. Preparing and Sending Your Items

  • Approved items must be sent to us in a clean, stain-free condition, ready for sale.

  • It is your responsibility to package sufficiently so that it arrives with us as intended. Any damages caused in the sending and delivery process are not the responsibility of Little Black Look.

  • If an item is not in the agreed condition or requires un-notified repairs, we reserve the right to decline it or deduct repair costs from the final payout.

4. Condition and Authenticity Checks

  • Upon receiving your items, they will undergo thorough checks for:

    • Authenticity

    • Condition

  • Any items found to be counterfeit, heavily damaged, or misrepresented will be returned to you at your expense or responsibly disposed of.

  • Items that pass our checks will be prepared, professionally photographed, and listed for sale.

5. Selling Timeline

  • Little Black Look currently prepare a collection on a monthly basis, depending on when the items are received will determine when the pieces will enter the next drop, and aim to have approved items available for sale within 2-4 weeks of receipt. However, this timeline may vary depending on demand and volume and we will keep you updated on progress.

  • Items will be listed on our website, Instagram, and showcased at pop-up events as part of our selling strategy.

6. Commission Structure and Payments

  • Little Black Look applies the following commission rates:

    • Designer Brands: 30% of the final selling price

    • Premium Brands: 40% of the final selling price

  • Payments will be processed at the end of each month via bank transfer. Sales made within 7 days of month-end will be included in the following month’s payment cycle.

  • It is the consignor's responsibility to ensure accurate payment details are provided.

7. Selling Period and Unsold Items

  • The standard consignment period is 10 weeks.

  • If an item remains unsold after this period, you will have 14 days to:

    • Arrange collection of the item, or

    • Request return postage (postage fees apply).

  • If no action is taken within this time, unsold items will be donated to a local charity.

8. Liability

  • While we take every care to protect your items, Little Black Look cannot be held responsible for loss, theft, or damage caused by circumstances beyond our control (e.g., fire, flood, or transit issues).

9. General Terms

  • By consigning items with Little Black Look, you confirm that:

    • You are the rightful owner of the items.

    • All submitted items are authentic and free from counterfeit.

  • Items will be promoted and marketed across our platforms, including photography and social media campaigns.

  • Any disputes arising from this agreement will be governed under UK law.
